Wuhu City, known as Jiuzi in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province. It is located in East China and southeastern Anhui Province. It is the sub-central city of Anhui Province. Wuhu City has "a famous city in Jiangdong and a famous district in Wuchu" Known as "a giant port on the Yangtze River and the backbone of Anhui Province", Wuhu was born and prospered by the river, with a dense water network.
